AACE Executive Secretary Paula Frampton-Brown 
Paula Frampton-Brown is the Executive Assistant for the American Association for Cancer Education. AACE’s office is located at the Institute for Palliative Medicine (IPM) at San Diego Hospice. In this role, Paula manages the AACE Office and coordinates the annual International Cancer Education Conference, a partnership of AACE, the European Association for Cancer Education and the University of California San Diego Office of Continuing Medical Education. At IPM, Paula is also the Executive Assistant to Dr. Charles F. von Gunten, the Provost, Dr. Frank D. Ferris, Director, International Programs, and the International Programs. From 1990 to 1994, Paula worked as a lifeguard and firefighter in Tillamook, Oregon. From 1994 to 1999, she worked for Solatube, Inc. in California, first as their national account manager and later as the Office Manager and Marketing & Communications Coordinator for their European office. In 1999, Paula returned to the USA to work for Furuno, Inc. in Camas, Washington as their Sales and Training Coordinator and Consultant.
